Just recently I touched based with someone who I haven’t necessarily got the closing that I felt I needed after a past relationship. 

Considering this is public, it is hard to provide necessary detail without revealing too much information. To make a long story short, he told me that we fought and bickered too much. For some reason, I couldn’t help but to wonder how someone can say such a thing after the events that transpired over that time period. And then it hit me, I can talk and explain my views all I want yet if someone doesn’t understand, then…

Communication is pointless without understanding. 

He can say, she can say, I can say…you can say anything and everything that you want to say to someone yet if they don’t understand how you feel, why you feel the way you do, or try to understand where your coming from….it’s like touching without feeling or crying with no tears. 

That’s where the effort, the patience, and the will all comes into place. Relationships are tough, but only if you make them that way. It may take two to make a relationship work and one to fuck it up, but it also takes one person to make a change or set the standard while the rest follow suit.
