Goals that “slightly” intimidate me:
- Cheerleading Tryouts: I haven’t busted out a back flip in who knows how long, and it kinda makes me nervous. Top it off, I have to learn a few more things before I am even comfortable with the idea of this.
- Pole Fitness Level Out Test: When I first started pole dancing I was told to try a level out class to be put into something more advanced, but apparently I physically do not trust myself like I used to at the moment.
- Honors College: Lets just say I was not the best student, but I sure can write a literary essay and a wrap sheet of accomplishments you’d never believe.
- Volunteering Overseas: Self-explanatory. Being in a new place, out of your comfort zone…you get the point.
But what is the point having a goal for yourself if they aren’t even a challenge and can be easily obtained, pushing ourselves to new limits to attain a new level of knowledge or whatever it may be that your striving for.
Taking baby steps to big changes.
